The Grocery Bag Project Event by Michael Rohland happened at The Green Earth Festival in Santa Ana on March 15th, 2008. The event was organized by Zen Honeycutt whose blog is listed elsewhere. The Grocery Bag Project had one booth right next to Sprouts Market. The booth featured a long report about the opportunity, the impact and the possibility of this project. After reading the report visitors were encouraged to pick up a free reusable grocery bag from Sprouts Market which had many goodies in it.
I was particularly impressed with the turnout from our SELP group. It was great to have the support of the community.
What landed for me is fun, community support and bonding and the commitment of like minded individuals in the environmental, making a difference, world transformation world.
